T minus one month till the National Half Marathon in Washington, DC. Glad I have no goals except to finish. Just picked up my run training again after almost two weeks off due to getting my life back together again. Boy did it feel good to run again... it hurt... but omg did it feel good. Thursday and Friday were both tough days on pavement. Both days were windy as hell... winds from the north at 15 to 20... gusting to at least 30. Thursday I ran a short 5k at about an 8:46 pace... yesterday was a 10k at about an 8:47 pace. Disappointed definitely... but I know I'll get faster once I get back to the normal 4 days or so a week of running with some track workouts mixed into it.

Yeah, it'll be back! But the soreness is what gets me. I feel every damn muscle. It will pass...
